The Ehrlichia Canis Ab Rapid Test utilizes an indirect lateral flow immunochromatographic technique. The testing apparatus features a testing window that comprises an invisible T (test) zone as well as a C (control) zone. Upon applying a sample into the device's sample hole, the liquid within will flow laterally along the test strip's surface. Should the sample contain sufficient Ehrlichia Canis antibodies, a visible T band will become apparent. Additionally, a C band will consistently emerge post-sample application, confirming the validity of the result. In essence, the device is capable of accurately signaling the presence of Ehrlichia Canis antibodies within the sample.
